What is OXEZE?
OXEZE TURBUHALER is used to help breathing problems. in patients with asthma and its related conditions only as an. add-on therapy to an inhaled corticosteroid.
Can Formoterol be used alone?
Formoterol must not be used alone to treat asthma. (See also Warning section.) It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways so that they open up and you can breathe more easily.
Can formoterol and salbutamol be taken together?
Interactions between your drugs Using albuterol together with formoterol may increase cardiovascular side effects such as elevations in heart rate and blood pressure or irregular heart rhythm.
What is albuterol inhaler used for?
Albuterol is used to prevent and treat difficulty breathing, wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing, and chest tightness caused by lung diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD; a group of diseases that affect the lungs and airways).
What is Oxeze used for?
It is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma for people 6 years of age and older who are also using inhaled corticosteroids but are still experiencing regular or frequent breakthrough symptoms of asthma (e.g., cough, wheeze, tightened airways).
How long does it take for Alvesco to work?
You may begin to feel this medication working within 24 hours, but it may take several weeks or longer before the full benefit of this drug takes effect. Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen.
Is formoterol safe?
Important warnings. Asthma warning: Adults with asthma who take drugs such as formoterol alone have an increased risk of death from asthma problems. Also, children and adolescents with asthma who take formoterol alone may have an increased risk of being hospitalized due to asthma.
What are the side effects of formoterol?
Formoterol may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
- nervousness.
- headache.
- uncontrollable shaking of a part of the body.
- dry mouth.
- muscle cramps.
- nausea.
- vomiting.
- diarrhea.
Can I use an inhaler if I have Covid?
Will my inhaler help with COVID-19 symptoms? Bear in mind that your reliever inhaler helps with symptoms like breathlessness, coughing, or chest tightness that are caused by asthma. They may not help these symptoms if they’re caused by COVID-19.
Can albuterol damage your lungs?
This medicine may cause paradoxical bronchospasm, which means your breathing or wheezing will get worse. This may be life-threatening. Check with your doctor right away if you or your child have coughing, difficulty breathing, or wheezing after using this medicine.
How do you use Oxeze?
You draw the powder into your lungs with your breath. Therefore, it is important to inhale sharply and deeply through the mouthpiece when using the Turbuhaler®. Since only a very small amount of powder is inhaled with each dose, you may not taste or feel anything when you use the Turbuhaler®.
What are the side effects of Alvesco inhaler?
COMMON side effects
- throat irritation.

- dry mouth.
- taste impairment.

How many milligrams of Oxeze should I take?
Oxeze® Turbuhaler® is supplied in two strengths: 6 µg/metered dose (60 doses) and 12 µg/metered dose (60 doses). Adults: The usual dose is 6 or 12 µg, twice daily, at 12 hour intervals. Some adults may need 24 µg, twice daily. In adults, the maximum recommended daily dose is 48 µg.
Are there any side effects to taking Oxeze?
Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur: irregular heartbeat muscle cramps symptoms of high blood sugar (e.g., frequent urination, increased thirst, excessive eating, unexplained weight loss, poor wound healing, infections, fruity breath odour)
How is Oxeze used to treat emphysema?
Oxeze is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways to improve breathing. Oxezeinhalation is used to prevent bronchospasm in people with reversible obstructive airways disease, including symptoms of night-time asthma. It is also used in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease such as emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
Is it safe to take Oxeze turbuhaler with formoterol?
Oxeze Turbuhaler contains lactose (600 g/metered dose) and is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to inhaled lactose or formoterol. The amount of lactose in Oxeze Turbuhaler does not normally cause problems in lactose intolerant people (see Contraindications).
