Is AAT a diploma?
AAT level 4 is equal to a diploma level. This is equivalent to an HNC level qualification or the first year of a degree on the QCF and qualifies you to become an AAT Fellow Member. What is better AAT or ACCA?
AAT is considered to be the first step towards becoming an accountant, while ACCA is an advanced qualification for people who already are accountants. ACCA is a higher qualification than AAT. What comes after AAT 4?
Once you’ve completed AAT Professional Diploma (level 4) you can go on to do the full ACCA qualification and become a chartered accountant, but you will also be able to apply for some exam exemptions (see below). ACCA is considered a much harder qualification to achieve, but the rewards are well worth the effort.
