How do I know what size my chassis fan is?
The size of fan you need will generally be determined by the size of the fan fitting position in your PC case. The sizes of all the fans on our website are shown as measured along any one of the fan’s four sides, NOT the distance between the fan’s screw holes! Our most popular fan size is 120mm, followed by 80mm.
Why is my chassis fan not working?
Most fans have 3 wires/pins. If your BIOS has been misconfigured or is outdated, you might have problems with your fan. If your CPU fan does not spin, the issue could be anywhere from the fan, the motherboard, to the power supply unit. The fan can get clogged with dust and lint hence preventing it from spinning.
Is one chassis fan enough?
IMO, a case needs at minimum 2 fans, one intake and one exhaust. You need fresh air from outside to cool the components and you need a way to get hot air out quickly.
Is chassis fan Same as System fan?
Well… the CPU fan is for the fan on the CPU, while the chassis fan is for fans on the case (aka chassis). All right, enough with being a smartass. Chassis fans are typically ‘dumb’ fans which spin at a specific speed. If you want your fan to spin slower/quieter then you add a fan line resistor.
How big is a 80mm fan?
80mm (3.1 Inches) The fans of 80mm are conventional models that are being widely used for a decade for cooling the components. However, as of today, they are still very common in CPU heatsinks, and even on some models of graphics cards.
What is the smallest PC fan size?

Why is my power supply fan not spinning?
So, the main reason why your PSU fan won’t spin even when you’re under 40 percent load, is because the fan is designed that way. It won’t turn on unless your PSU needs to cool down and the load on your system has exceeded a certain limit. Another factor that affects the fan is the temperature of your PSU.
Is 1 fan enough for gaming?
Having at least one intake and one exhaust fan should provide a substantial temperature decrease versus having no fans at all. Play around with the positioning of the fans, you might find that one fan up top and one in the rear consistently provides a few degrees lower temps than both of them in the rear.
Do you need top fans?
Generally, you want the case fans in front of the case drawing in air while the fans at the rear blow air out. If your case has vents at the top, they should be placed as exhaust fans because hot air will rise.
What is pump fan 1?
PUMP_FAN1 is for the pump. CPU_FAN1 is for the CPU fans which are PWM controlled, depending on the temps the RPM will adjust accordingly.
Does it matter which chassis fan header I use?
The only one that makes a difference is the cpu fan. Make sure that one is plugged into the “cpu fan” header on the m/b. Other than that, the header used makes no difference.
How is Acetylcarnosine related to dipeptide carnosine?
N-Acetylcarnosine (NAC) is a naturally occurring compound chemically related to the dipeptide carnosine. The NAC molecular structure is identical to carnosine with the exception that it carries an additional acetyl group.
Is there any scientific evidence for Acetylcarnosine eye drops?
The evidence for the effectiveness of N-acetyl carnosine eye drops is based on experience on a small number of cases carried out by a Russian research team [Babizhayev]. To date, the research has not been corroborated and the results replicated by others.
Where are carnosine and NAC found in the body?
Carnosine and metabolic derivatives of carnosine, including NAC, are found in a variety of tissues but particularly muscle tissue. These compounds have varying degrees of activity as free radical scavengers. It has been suggested that NAC is particularly active against lipid peroxidation in the different parts of the lens in the eye.
What makes NAC more resistant to degradation than carnosine?
The NAC molecular structure is identical to carnosine with the exception that it carries an additional acetyl group. The acetylation makes NAC more resistant to degradation by carnosinase, an enzyme that breaks down carnosine to its constituent amino acids, beta-alanine and histidine.
