According to the new directive, Soldiers may not wear headphones beyond the permitted area inside a gym “in any manner, including around the neck or attached to the uniform.” The directive applies to active duty, Army National Guard and Reserve Soldiers and is punitive.
What happens if I miss my IPPT window?

Can listen to music during Ippt?
Can I listen to music during IPPT? You are not allowed to listen to music during test. If the officials see it, they will tell you to leave the equipment at the starting point.
What if it rains during Ippt?
For IPPT conducted at Bedok and Khatib FCCs, IPPT will be delayed as a precaution when there is a lightning risk. Thereafter, the session will be cancelled if the lightning risk persists or inclement weather follows. As the IPPT stations at Kranji and Maju FCCs are sheltered, IPPT will be conducted as per normal.

You can be exempted from your annual fitness requirements once you have been disrupted from your Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS) duties. However, you can also be exempted from IPPT in your current IPPT window, only if you have: Been permanently downgraded to PES B3 and below (excluding PES C1)
Can I retake IPPT for gold?
You may take your IPPT multiples times in your IPPT window. If you get a higher score and award in your subsequent attempts, your incentive will be topped up to the corresponding amount of that award.
Do you have to take pre enlistee IPPT separately?
You do not have to take the Pre-Enlistee IPPT separately if you have taken the modified National Physical Fitness Award (NAPFA) test in a Junior College, Millennia Institute, polytechnic or the Institute of Technical Education. The results of the three Pre-Enlistee IPPT stations from the modified NAPFA test will be transmitted to us.
