The competition schedule will be determined closer to the event. USA Gymnastics has eight regions, and the top seven gymnasts from each region’s Regional Championships advance to nationals. The winning regions will also be determined at the conclusion of the competition.
How do you qualify for regionals in gymnastics?
To enter a Regional Meet, a gymnast must have competed All-around in her State Meet and must have achieved the designated qualifying score in her State Meet. If a State Meet is not held in a gymnast’s state-of- residence, the gymnast must compete All-around in a State Meet outside of her state-of-residence.
Can Xcel silver go to regionals?
Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond athletes will qualify by percentage. State Teams will be the top 8 athletes of all age groups combined for Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Entry fee is $100.00. There will be NO petitions for Xcel Regionals.
