Can humans and Quarians reproduce?
Nope. Quarians have dextro amino acids, whereas we have levo. That means that the is a difference in chirality such that every single protein functional in a human would not be producible by a quarian cell and vice versa. A cell could not produce both kinds of amino acids because they are mutually exclusive.
Can humans and Turians?
Turians cannot consume the same types of proteins that humans can. Instead of using Levo-amino acids like Humans and Asari, both Quarians and Turians use dextro-amino acids.
Can Shepard and Garrus have kids?
There is no way they could have a baby. they’re physiology is too different. Turians can’t eat human food just like Quarians.
How do Salarians reproduce?
Sex and Reproduction The salarians are amphibian haplo-diploid egg-layers; unfertilized eggs produce males and fertilized eggs produce females. Once a year, a salarian female will lay a clutch of up to several dozen eggs (though it can be as few as three). Sexuality is strictly for the purpose of reproduction.
Why do Quarians look like humans?

How old do Turians live?
Turians and Quarians While also here it doesn’t seem like there is a confirmed max age, it’s safe to assume they will live for around 150 years, just like humans. Quarians don’t always reach this age though, because they are very vulnerable to infections. It’s why they wear the suit after all.

How are turians different from humans and quarians?
Turians cannot consume the same types of proteins that humans can. Since we developed differently from a genetic level, Turians utilize different amino acids than humans. Instead of using Levo-amino acids like Humans and Asari, both Quarians and Turians use dextro-amino acids.
How does a turian give birth to a baby?
Like humans, Turians are viviparous in that they don’t lay eggs. Instead, they gestate their young and then give birth to live young after the gestation period. But Turians fetuses don’t use umbilical cords. They use yokes much like birds do with their eggs. Nutrients from that yoke or sac will feed the fetus.
What kind of life does a turian have?
Turians are viviparous, and give birth to live young. Their vivipary seems to be a secondarily evolved, highly specialized trait, as it isn’t seen in any of Palaven’s other bird species, which are all oviparous (egg-laying). Although life on Palaven is carbon-based and oxygen-breathing, it’s built on dextro-amino acids.
