I would say UMVC3 would probably translate better because the unique system mechanics don’t change the way you play so much. In 3 it feels more like playing one character at a time, where in MVCI you switch so much and the stones are so unique that Dante/Zero Soul feels completely different than Dante/Morrigan Space.
