US Youth Soccer cancels ODP Summer Camp, altering National ODP selection process. US Youth Soccer has announced the cancellation of this year’s ODP Summer Camp, and provided an update on the upcoming selection process for the next National ODP cycle.
What is ODP Regional Team?
ODP teams are formed at the state association and regional levels, made up of the best players in various age groups. At the state association level, pools of players are identified in each eligible age group, brought together as a team to develop their skill through training and competition.
How much does ODP soccer cost?
The cost of ODP ranges from $250-850 depending on specific showcase/camp costs. *Showcase/camp costs include transportation to and from camp, full room and board, as well as all coaches’ fees, etc. **Players selected to the training pool must have full payment into the MYSA office no later than Sunday, May 12, 2019.
What are ODP coaches looking for?
When choosing state, regional and national players, coaches look for a blend of types of players who all work hard to win the ball. They need players who have the talent to recognize and take advantage of opportunities to “finish” or score goals or to set up goal scoring.
What is Olympic Development Program?
The Olympic Development Program is a national identification and development program for players of the highest-level. The Cal North Olympic Development Program consists of pools of players identified in eligible age groups for the purpose of high level training and skill development.
Can Da players do ODP?
Can I compete in other competitions like high school or ODP in addition to the DA? Therefore, players competing in the DA may only compete in outside competition if called up for Youth National Team duty or if given written consent by U.S. Soccer Development Academy staff.
How much does NJ ODP cost?

What is the difference between ODP and ECNL?
ECNL is a league that is club based and for girls only. ODP is regionally based and individual players are eligible, not certain teams or clubs and is for both boys and girls. ODP players remain with their club teams, but participate in special camps and programs on a occasional basis.
