What is my tuxedo size?
A typical tuxedo jacket size looks something like 42R or 42 Regular. The 42 refers to your chest measurement. If you have a larger upper body, you may have to pick up a size or two bigger. For example, if your chest measures 40″ and your overarm measures 49″, the recommended jacket size is 42.

What length should a tuxedo jacket be?
The jacket’s length should land right where your butt starts to curve inward. The hem of the jacket should hit around the middle of your hand. The shoulder seams should sit around the bend of your shoulder, so it doesn’t look boxy or pull across the back.
