What is the point of clan wars?
A clan war is a strategic battle between two clans. There are two phases in a clan war, the preparation day and the battle day. Each participant can attack twice during the battle day. At the end of the war, the clan that earns more stars from attacking wins the clan war.

What are friendly clan wars?
Friendly Wars is a feature that was added in the October 2016 update. In Friendly Wars, you are able to challenge another clan to a Clan War for fun. To initiate a Friendly War, a leader or co-leader must go to the clan profile of the clan they wish to challenge, where they may issue a challenge to that clan.
Can anyone participate in clan wars?
Clans in the Champion Leagues will only be able to do 15v15 wars. Anyone in the roster will be able to play in the War Leagues. Anyone outside the roster cannot participate in the War Leagues (though they can still play an outside role, by for example donating troops for attacks in the League).
How do I join a clan war league?
To participate, Clans have to sign-up for Clan War Leagues with at least 15 (maximum 50) members. It’s a good idea to enroll over 15 members to have more attackers to choose from in each War. At the end of War Week, Clans that have earned the most stars are promoted to higher leagues, while others stay or are demoted.
Will I get war loot if I leave clan?
Even if you have left the clan before the war ended, you can still receive the War Bonus if you had successfully attacked at least one base in the Clan War. Any spectators, however, will not receive any War Bonus whatsoever.

Dropping below the eligible threshold will not remove a Clan mid-War. Additionally, only up to 50 unique participants can play in each day’s Clan War.
