Our story began in Chicago, Illinois in November of ’91 when Maggiano’s Little Italy opened the doors of its first location on the corners of Clark Street and Grand Avenue.
How formal is Maggianos?
Maggiano’s is a family style restaurant so, as long as it is not totally inappropriate, anything is pretty much ok. Events upstairs are usually on the more formal side but downstairs is basically casual.
Can you wear jeans to dinner in Italy?
You can wear anything clean and tidy, there isn’t an italian translation for dress code and restaurants can’t refuse service because of the way customers dress. Of course you may feel better dressing like all the others in the room, but jeans are acceptable even in starred restaurants these days.
