Can I return food to Coop?
To return goods for which you have changed your mind, you must return the goods to us within 30 days after the delivery or collection date. Where you are returning all goods in a single order, we will also refund you for the delivery charge for that order.
Can food items be returned?
Most stores allow returns of items with a receipt, although some perishables such as meat or produce may not be returnable at some stores. Call for specifics at the store where you plan to make the return.

Under the Consumer Rights Act as long as you return an item within 30 days of purchase you can do so without a receipt and still have the right to a full refund. If you don’t want to return or exchange the item then you can ask for it to be repaired.

You should receive a refund within 21 days.

We will just refund you for the product you ordered. The refund will go back into your bank account in 3 to 5 working days.
What happens when you return unopened food?
Yes, generally, grocery stores throw away returned food. Customers can choose to donate it to a food bank instead, if it is unopened, but it will still get thrown away for liability reasons. There are some exceptions to this general rule.
Can I return meat at Whole foods?
Whole Foods Market accepts returns for products with a receipt within 90 days of purchase. With a few exceptions, we will reimburse you for your returned items in the same way you paid for them. Items that are damaged, or do not have a receipt may be denied a refund or exchange.
Can I return to any home goods?
HomeGoods products can only be purchased in physical stores, and therefore can only be returned to physical store. The only way to return goods to HomeGoods is to find a physical store near you and to bring your product there.
Can I return something I don’t like?
But actually, shops don’t have to accept returned goods unless they are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. However, if you do want to return an item simply because you don’t like it, most shops will offer to exchange or refund it as a gesture of goodwill.
How can I get a proof of purchase without receipt?

- Receipt number or confirmation number for telephone or online transactions;
- Credit card statement;
- Warranty Card showing a supplier’s or manufacturer’s details, date and amount of purchase; or.
- Serial or production number.
