Does polymorph work on Druids wow?
Druids in shapeshifted forms are immune to polymorph completely, and druids in caster form can shapeshift to break the spell instantly.
Why does polymorph heal?
As long as the excess damage doesn’t reduce the creature’s normal form to 0 hit points, it isn’t knocked unconscious. My bard states this means when he polymorphs into a T-Rex and drops to 0 hit points, he still has all the hit points of his normal form, instantly “healing” him to full hp.
Who can dispel polymorph?
Do this well, and your party will love you. You will also have one less beast/humanoid to kill when facing multiple ones! Certain classes have PvP trinkets which can break Polymorph. Engineers can also create un-polymorph trinkets, and priests can dispel magic.
Where can I find polymorph pigs?

This polymorph is the same thing like a sheep but it’s a Pig. 🙂 You can get this spell from the Archmage Xylem in Azshara. You need to finish the quest “Warlord Krellian” and after Xylem will give you the quest “Fragmented Magic”.

Tome of Polymorph: Turtle is an item that’s made available for Mages starting Phase 4. When used, this item teaches Polymorph: Turtle. This item is obtainable by defeating Gahz’ranka within Zul’Gurub.
Does polymorph cause aggro?
Either during Cataclysm or after, Polymorphed was changed to no longer aggro nearby enemy NPCs.
Can Druid shift out of Poly?
Druids will not longer be able to shift out of polymorph, how do you think this will affect druids? The simplest answer would be to wait and see how it pans out at level 85 on live servers, but it seems like a pretty big hit. Shape shifting is what makes a druid such a unique class.
Does polymorph heal?
Typically, a mage will use Polymorph at the beginning of combat, allowing the group to focus on the remaining targets. Because Polymorph heals the target, it is much more effective to use it early in a fight rather than later when the target may have already suffered damage.
Does polymorph put you in combat?
Since launch, one of the most annoying things about Polymorph unlike most other hard CC, it actually puts you in combat with afflicted target. This is different from CCs used by Demon Hunters and Rogues where the CC can be used to avoid mobs and packs.
Does polymorph clear dot?
It transforms the enemy into a critter, removing it from combat. It is the mage’s primary crowd control spell, allowing the mage’s party to focus their efforts elsewhere while the polymorphed target wanders harmlessly for a period of time. Any damage will break the effect, including DoTs.
Can I dispel polymorph?
A permanent magical effect can be dispelled unless the spell explicitly clarifies that it cannot be. True Polymorph fits into this category, which means that it can be dispelled.
