Full Fibre uses FTTP technology, which means the fibre connection runs directly to your house. With Full Fibre installation, we’ll upgrade the master phone socket (the white box on the wall) and install an Openreach modem (ONT), which connects to the fibre optical cable that comes into your house.

Unfortunatley there is nothing you can do. You can’t pay extra to get a better service. Your only options are satellite broadband, or getting a leased line but leased lines cost around £500-600 per month and are really aimed at businesses.

Can I request FTTP from BT?

FTTP is the residential Fibre to the Premises and is usually only available if there is no FTTC Fibre to the Cabinet available due to distance from the cabinet. You are able to get FTTC so you will not be offered FTTP.
