What is a Flexionator?

What is a Flexionator?

The knee/ankle flexionator is a variable load/variable position device that uses a hydraulic pump and quick-release mechanism to allow patients to perform dynamic stretching exercises in the home without assistance, alternately stretching and relaxing the scar tissue surrounding affected joints.

What is a knee Flexinator?

The high-intensity Ermi Knee Flexionater helps restore motion, reducing the occurrence of reoperation and other complications. The Flexionater can generate loads from zero to several hundred foot-pounds of torque to accommodate the specific mechanical characteristics of scar tissue found in each patient.

What is a shoulder Flexionator?

The Shoulder Flexionater is designed to first improve external rotation and then abduction. An antirotation bar keeps the patient in place while working external rotation, while a pad atop the shoulder keeps the joint in place while working.

What is an Ermi device?

Ermi | Restoring Full Range of Motion Without Surgery. Introducing the new. line of devices. These unique devices combine our patented patient-controlled high-intensity hydraulic mechanism with bidirectional stretching capabilities supporting both flexion and extension.

How does a dynasplint work?

How do Dynasplint® Systems work? Dynasplint Systems are gentle stretching devices that help increase joint range of motion. The Dynasplint System provides a low tension to your restricted soft tissue, allowing application for prolonged periods of time.

Does the dynasplint work?

Dynasplint knee and elbow devices were found to be highly effective and efficient tools for speeding recovery from immobilization stiffness and to correct established contractures in 13 subjects who had suffered elbow fractures (8), knee fractures (2), surgeries (2), and a stroke (1).

Is Ermi test accurate?

Accuracy. DNA mold analysis is 99.99% accurate. Out of all the other mold testing methods, the best is 56% accurate. No other test will provide data nearly as reliable as MSQPCR, which ERMI uses.

How long should I wear my dynasplint?

Patient will wear the Dynasplint® System for hours the first day. If no more than one hour post-wear discomfort occurs, the patient may increase wear time over a 2-3 day time period, building up to overnight application of 6-8 hours.

Is the dynasplint painful?

NO PAIN while wearing the Dynasplint® System. 2. Time is the most important component.

What is a dynasplint used for?

Dynasplint® Systems are proprietary gentle stretching devices that help increase joint range of motion. They are the perfect aid for a home exercise program and proven to increase range of motion through an effective approach to stretching on a daily basis.
