Is March vision Spectera?

UnitedHealthcare is excited to introduce a brand update for its vision networks. For provider communications, we will now begin using a co-branded logo with either March® Vision Care and/or Spectera®. A new logo and branding will begin to appear on communications and websites in the future.

What is Eyesynergy?

Providers.eyesynergy.com is March® Vision Care’s intuitive, user-friendly online web portal for eye care professionals. It gives you 24/7 access to eligibility, benefit, claim and lab information. Daily training sessions on how to use the web portal are available for new and current users.

Does Alameda Alliance cover glasses?

No medical diagnosis is required for this benefit. They will also pay for one pair of eyeglasses (Medi-Cal frames) every 2 years. No medical procedures (these usually have their own separate procedure codes) are covered by Blue Cross or Alameda Alliance Medi-Cal plans (the plans administered by VSP).

How can I get my doctor to prescribe my glasses?

It’s simple if your prescription came from a specific optometrist or ophthalmologist you simply need to call their office and request a copy of your prescription. They should be able to walk you through the exact steps needed to receive your prescription.

Does Costco Accept Medicare for eyeglasses?

Costco may accept some Medicare plans, but it depends on your specific plan. Costco’s website doesn’t explicitly state whether they accept Medicare. To find out if your Medicare plan is accepted at Costco, call the Medicare number listed on your insurance card and call your local Costco Optical.

Can opticians refuse to give you your prescription?

Yes, you can take your prescription to another optician and buy glasses from another practice. An optician is obliged to provide you with the written prescription following the eye examination. By law, the prescription must provide the basic results of the eye examination.

Can I get my eye prescription online?

An eye doctor in your state will check over your results and email you a prescription. Then you can order glasses or contacts online. Not every state will allow you to get an eye prescription this way. The websites that offer prescriptions will charge a fee.

Does Walmart Vision accept Medicare?
