What is fluting in woodworking?
A fluted work piece adds class and distinction to any project. This jig makes it a breeze to layout flutes. Two slots along each side of the base allow the guide bars to slide along the bottom of the jig once the hardware is added. These slots are easy to make with a straight bit in the router table.
Can a router cut a 45 degree angle?
When it comes time to make 45° miters, most of us go straight to the table saw. The 36-950 45° Chamfer bit is for use in the router table and can be run at around 18,000 RPM for smooth miters in material up to 1-1/8″ thick. Can you use a lock miter bit on plywood?
