Participants in the program now have the exclusive right to co-stream live League of Legends Championship Series and Academy matches. As a result, members of the League Partnership Program will no longer have automatic permission to co-stream LCS matches.
How old do you have to be to stream the LCS?
To participate, co-streamers and guests alike must be more than 21 years old. Currently, this program will be limited to English and Spanish streams on Twitch and YouTube. However, the LCS management can include different languages and platforms at their discretion, just as they can add new co-streamers.
What are restrictions on co streaming on LCS?
Co-streamers are not allowed to alter, cover or otherwise disparage LCS and Academy sponsors or advertisements. They can advertise their own sponsors as long as they don’t conflict with LCS or Academy sponsors and they aren’t on the restricted sponsorship list, which includes advertisements for drugs, liquor, pornography and gambling.
Is there a way to co stream with Riot Games?
Riot Games has not yet announced a way for streamers to apply to be part of the new co-streaming program. However, they did note with the approval of LCS management, more streamers and broadcast partners may be added over the course of the event.
